The buzz around Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies has seemingly cooled off compared to the last year. Nevertheless, there is still a lot going on around Blockchain. After all, with dramatic economic global events going on – including the demonetization processes that have happened in some countries (e.g. in India) lately, cryptocurrencies are gaining credibility. That implicates that the actions around them are more and more based on experience. That is why crypto enthusiasts are often interested in exchanging knowledge about cryptocurrencies on specialized events.

Every year there is a plethora of such events – organized with the aim to educate, engage and collaborate with the mainstream public on advancing the Blockchain and crypto industry. During these events, crypto enthusiasts look to discuss opportunities. They network with like-minded individuals and get firsthand experience of the latest trends in the crypto world.

In this post, we are sharing some of the best Blockchain conferences and summits worth visiting in 2019.

Philippines Crypto Expo Asia 2019

Let’s kick off our list with the Philippines. Here, the Blockchain Association of the Philippines (BAP) helps to educate the population on enabling crypto innovations in local businesses. In fact, with the Cagayan Economic Authority, Philippines’ government has granted over 15 crypto exchanges licenses to operate in the country – which is a great result. For this reason, the Crypto Expo Asia will be taking place in MAKATI Shangri-La as from the 27th of April 2019. During the expo-forum, about 3,000 exhibitors, 50,000 visitors and 500 speakers are expected to attend. The organizers promise to make it one of the biggest crypto and Blockchain events in the country. Additionally, they aim to make the conference an important event for the entire Asian region.

Even despite quite a lot of controversy, China can definitely be called one of the biggest contributors to the research and practical solutions around the Blockchain technology. The event (held from January 14th to January 18th, 2019) will seek to enable the development of the Blockchain and crypto industry to create value in the long run. The team working to bring the event to fruiting will include a Chinese as well as a Korean part –  both of which have been at work to help Blockchain startups achieve their vision since the founding of the Chainers Inc. organization. During the weeklong event, there will be 80 speakers, with an expected audience of 3000 people.
